  • Publication of Volume 29!

    On behalf of the CJMT Editorial Team, we are thrilled to present the 2023 issue of the journal, Volume 29. This issue features an exciting group of dynamic authors who bring original research, reflections, insights, and book reviews. The full issue and single article files are now available and printed copies will be mailed out in the coming weeks. This issue is my last as Editor-in-Chief, and it has been a pleasure working on the CJMT! An extra special thanks to Annabelle Brault (our French Content Editor), Sara Pun (our Associate Editor), our editorial review board, our copy editing team, our translation team, as well as to Pam Lansbergen, and the CAMT Board. 

    Please note that at this time, we are not accepting new submissions to the journal, as our editorial team is changing. Please check back for more information in the coming months. We look forward to working with you in the future!

  • CJMT Volume 27

    On behalf of the CJMT Editorial Team, we are thrilled to present the 2021 issue of the journal, Volume 27, a culmination of many contributors, authors, and editors, and a representation of varying scholarly ideas and intersecting approaches within our profession. The full issue is available now and the single article files will be shared in the coming weeks.

    We are also very excited to continue to digitally share previous issues of the CJMT: please stay tuned as these issues (both in their entirety and as single articles) will continue to become available over the coming months.

    Our journal is evolving in many exciting ways, and we are really looking forward to sharing more updates soon. Our 2022 issue is currently in progress and we cannot wait to feature the innovative research and writing of emerging scholars.

  • Call for Applications - Associate Editor

    2021-09-23

    The Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) seeks applicants for the position of associate editor for the Association’s journal, Canadian Journal of Music Therapy (CJMT) beginning in June 2020. The successful applicant(s) will assume associate editorial responsibility for the publication of the journal starting with the 2022 Issue. This is a 3-year term position.  Applications due October 15th, 2021.
